"Having our wedding videoed was the last thing on our list to sort because we both wasn’t sure whether we wanted it on video – but having seen your DVD we now both feel that it was absolutely the best money spent and I am sure it will get lots of use as we thoroughly enjoy watching it – the music you chose for it is fantastic and very fitting to the day" ... Donna & Darren

This video posting on You Tube is a little corny, but the sentiment is very real and I have heard so often how important the DVD is in capturing the memories for such an important day.

We thought the article in Bride magazine about hiring a wedding videographer is well written and thought it would be useful to include the article below:
"Your whole wedding day will be amazing fun throughout, but what will be your most treasured memory? What particular feeling, thought, sound or sight will stand out most? Will it be the groom looking nervous waiting in eager anticipation for the bride to arrive at the church, or the moments of fun and humour with you, your groom and your friends each having a great day together, drinking Pimms in the afternoon sunshine or laughing at the best man’s speech?
As many brides report, there are hundreds of special moments throughout but many of these pass her by on the day. Having spent a year or more organising your wedding, you have planned to have the perfect day, with the perfect dress and the perfect groom. You have spent an age and many thousands of pounds putting the little personal finishing touches in place from table decorations to invites; everything speaks volumes about your style and personality. However, whilst a priceless day of memories with atmosphere and emotion, laughter and tears your wedding day will also seem to pass so quickly that you can scarcely be sure that each of the memories and moments will be etched upon your mind, hence the reason that many brides and grooms opt for a videographer and many more regret not doing so.
| | Videographers do not replace photographers, but rather capture the touching and funny things that your guests say or the moments you weren’t around for.
In the past many couples have felt that a friend or family member can easily create your wedding video, which inevitably leads to disappointment; that is, unless you know friends with tens of thousands of pounds of broadcast quality digital camera equipment and professional editing suites.
Even today’s domestic grade cameras are poor substitutes for broadcast quality video equipment, and that’s before one factors in editing skills and the skills of the videographer behind the camera. Most people believe video relies on good picture quality, giving little thought to poor quality audio which can ruin otherwise excellent camerawork.
Professional wedding videographers have a wide range of equipment to capture everything perfectly from wireless microphones for the vows to multiple camera setups so making the production as interesting as possible. Professional videographers know where to be and what to capture in order to produce a tasteful video. Most film unobtrusively and in the background in a reportage or natural style.
With expertise, experience and the right equipment, hiring a professional videographer is essential to capture your special day … nobody would dream of neglecting to hire a professional photographer, and hiring a comparable professional to capture your day on video, too, is a must."
